RAA Hiriketiya

Raa (රා) , Arrack bar & Sri Lankan Kitchen ~ Located on Hiriketiya Beach, Dikwella. Raa is a tribute to the root of our Sri Lankan heritage, the symbolic Coconut Palm tree. Our cocktails are all based on Arrack, the distilled local spirit made from Toddy (or Raa where our name is derived) which is tapped from the palm trees. Our menu is an experience in traditional Sri Lankan cooking, made over wood fire and clay pots, featuring coconut milk which is one of the main ingredients. Raa is built to showcase the versatility of coconut palms, as all our furniture is made of coconut wood, and our roofing is made from the woven & dried coconut fronds. We are nestled at the edge of the Hiriketiya bay, facing the ocean.
